Remember to skip lines when writing on your notebook paper. This will make the editing process easier to read and understand.

Please finish all research for your state this weekend (11/1-11/3). We will use your notes to begin writing your paper on Monday.

Bring materials daily to work on state research paper.

November 11 - Veteran's Day (No School)
November 15 - Turkey in Disguise Due (this is optional for students)
November 20 - Thanksgiving Lunch with Parents (Students will eat with their parents at an assigned time. Additional information will be sent home soon.)
November 22 - Non-Traditional Learning Day (students will not report to school)
November 25-29 - Thanksgiving Break (No School)

Homework Policy

All students are responsible for completing classwork on the day it is given, unless the teacher directs otherwise. If work is not finished in class, it will be the responsibility of the student to complete the work at home and return it to the teacher the following day. Work that is not turned in on time will result in a grade deduction and/or the loss of a privilege in order for the work to be completed.

In addition to daily classwork, students are required to study at home for quizzes and tests. The schedule for quizzes and tests is posted in the classroom and on the blog every Friday for the following week. Failure to study may result in low tests grades.
