 Announcements: 

• September 22 - Progress Reports 
• September 24 - Picture Day 
• September 25 - There will not be regular classes on Friday. This day will be devoted to preparing for the pumpkin drop. *NOTE: All history assessments have been moved up one day to accomodate for this change.*
• September 25 - School will dismiss at 12:30pm for the NLCA Volleyball tournament
• Any student planning to attend the volleyball tournament must have a note from home stating that they have permission to be dismissed to the game. *NOTE FOR PARENTS: NLCA teachers will not be responsible for students who attend the game.*
• October 9 - Grandparents' Day (School dismisses at 11:00am)

WV History 8 

• We will cover lesson 3 of chapter 2 this week. 
• You will also need to complete the Prove It! papers for Chapter 2. This will be a test grade. 
• October 7 - WV 55 Counties Map Test 

American Government 11 

• September 22 - Quiz on pages 34-43
• September 24 - Test on chapters 1-3 

World History 9 

• September 22 - Map Project 4 Test
• September 23 - Quiz on Chapter 6 
• September 24 - Test on Chapters 4-6

• This week we will be discussing American symbols. There will be a quiz on Tuesday and Thursday. 

World History 9
