November 12-16, 2018

ANNOUNCEMENTS: 
  • As part of our Thanksgiving celebration next week we will be having an “Ice Cream Sundae” day. Each student is asked to bring $2 to class on Tuesday to help with the cost of our celebration.Thank you so much!
  • November 12 - Veteran's Day observed. No school. 
  • November 14 - Thanksgiving Dinner for families in the school cafeteria. Please return your reservation and time selection to the school office by November 13. 
  • November 16 - Early dismissal at 12:00pm. There will not be Lion's Den or public bus transportation. All students will need to be picked up. 
  • November 19-23 - Thanksgiving Vacation. No school. 
  • December 6 - Christmas Play at 10:00am and 7:00pm
  • December 19-January 2 - Christmas Vacation. No School. 
SCHEDULE:
  • Wednesday: Billy Sunday Vocabulary Test; Math Test   
  • Friday:  Spelling Test 

A NOTE FROM MRS. EADES: 

There will not be a memory verse test until after the Christmas play. Students will receive a weekly grade in Bible for the quality of their participation and behavior during play practices. 

All students will need to bring a pack of 4x6 or 3x5 index cards to school by Tuesday, October 30. These will be used for their research paper. **Some students have still not brought these to class.**

Send a note to school saying you read this blog and your child will earn 2 tickets.

November 5-9, 2018

ANNOUNCEMENTS: 
  • November 6 - NLCA will be in session on Election Day. 
  • November 7 - Veteran's Day Chapel at 8:15. Everyone is welcome to join us. 
  • November 8 - PTF Meeting immediately after school. Everyone is invited to join us in making plans for the holidays.

Today was an amazing day! I am so proud of sixth grade and their behavior at the library and LaCaretta! Please commend your students for how wonderful they were!
