Congratulations to our JV Volleyball players on their win against South Charleston this week! We are so proud of you: Kimbria, Grace, Madisyn and Brylie!!! 

The Potato Festival is happening this weekend. Our NLCA Twirlers will be in the parade on Saturday at 2:00. If you can make it out, be sure to cheer them on!! See you guys on Monday!

• There will be no school on Monday, September 2 in observance of Labor Day. 

• Be thinking about what book you would like to read for your literature fair project. The school literature fair is September 26. 

• Just as a reminder, parents are asked to not begin lining up in the parking lot at the end of the day until 2:45.

Bible (King James or New International Version)

(2) packages of loose-leaf notebook paper (one for binder and keep one in locker)

(1) 2 inch – 3 ring binder

(8) tabbed dividers (we will write on the tabs in class)

(1) glue stick

(2) highlighters

scissors

ruler with inches and centimeters

(4) pens (red or blue ink)

(1)  package of pencils

(1)  package of pencil top erasers (will turn in to teacher)

(1)  package of 3x5 index cards (for research paper)

(1) zippered pencil pouch

(1) composition notebook

$10 payable to NLCA for planner and Time magazine subscription

• Our class picnic is May 22 at Memorial Park. Everyone will meet at the park at 10:00am. Students will not come to school that day. 

• The last day for school is May 23. We will have an awards assembly for students in grades 1-11 at 1:30pm. Dismissal will immediately follow.
