ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Our class Easter party is Thursday, April 18 at 1:30. Parents are welcome to join us. Heather Tharp and Mary Marsh are organizing this party. If you can help in anyway, please contact them.

Spring Break is April 19-28. We return to school on April 29.

Marathon Scholars Award Ceremony is May 7th at 8:00am.

Achievement Testing is May 7-9.

The last day for school is May 23. We will have an awards assembly for students in grades 1-11 at 1:30pm. Dismissal will immediately follow.

Wednesday: History Test

Thursday: States and Capitols Test

Homework Policy

All students are responsible for completing classwork on the day it is given, unless the teacher directs otherwise. If work is not finished in class, it will be the responsibility of the student to complete the work at home and return it to the teacher the following day. Work that is not turned in on time will result in a grade deduction and/or the loss of a privilege in order for the work to be completed.

In addition to daily classwork, students are required to study at home for quizzes and tests. The schedule for quizzes and tests is posted in the classroom and on the blog every Friday for the following week. Failure to study may result in low tests grades.
