ANNOUNCEMENTS:

There will be no school on Monday, September 6th in observance of Labor Day! Enjoy your long weekend!

We will have a field trip to the Nicholas Animal Hospital on Thursday, September 9th. Permission forms were sent home; please sign and return these forms by Tuesday, September 7th. Thank you!

UPCOMING TESTS: (subject to change based on class needs)

September 7 - History Test

September 8 - Message of the Mountain Vocabulary Test; Math Test

September 15 - Spelling List 2 Test

September 24 - Genesis 1:1-5 Memory Verse Test (Students may say the verse for a grade anytime before the 24th if they would like.)

Homework Policy

All students are responsible for completing classwork on the day it is given, unless the teacher directs otherwise. If work is not finished in class, it will be the responsibility of the student to complete the work at home and return it to the teacher the following day. Work that is not turned in on time will result in a grade deduction and/or the loss of a privilege in order for the work to be completed.

In addition to daily classwork, students are required to study at home for quizzes and tests. The schedule for quizzes and tests is posted in the classroom and on the blog every Friday for the following week. Failure to study may result in low tests grades.
