• October 7 - Grandparents' Day and Noon Dismissal 
• If possible, students are asked to wear a tool belt with a few tools inside of it for our Mt. Rushmore presentation. If you have any questions, please send me an email. 
• October 12 - NLCA literature fair
• October 24 - End of the first 9 weeks

There will not be a formal spelling test this week due to Grandparents' Day. We will still do our regular classroom instruction with the lessons; however, we will not test on the words.
