- October 2 - NLCA Literature Fair
- October 10 - Grandparents' Day begins at 10:00am - All students are dismissed at the conclusion of the program (approximately 11:30am).
- October 15 - End of First Nine Weeks
- October 24 - Field Trip to Gritt's Farm (Parents must provide transportation or arrange for their child to ride with someone else.)
- November 11 - No School in observance of Veterans' Day
- November 24-28 - Thanksgiving Break
